ULV Choral Concert
The ULV music department hosts the 10th Annual Friends Festival at the La Verne Church of the Brethren today. This is a high school invitational choral festival under Todd J. Harper’s direction.
The event begins at 1 p.m. and is $5 for general admission; free for students.
‘Noises Off’ Premiere
The much anticipated “Noises Off” play is premiering Thursday on the ULV Dailey Theatre stage.
The play will debut the theater department’s air-lifting technology, which is used to rotate the entire set on stage. The play will also be performed Nov. 14, 15, 20, 21 and 22 at 7:30 p.m.
There will be a matinee showing at 2 p.m. on Nov. 23. Tickets are $10 for general admission; $8 for staff and seniors; $5 for students.
ULV Galleries
Karen Tapia’s photography exhibit “Sheltered” continues in the Carlson Gallery until Dec. 5.
The Harris Art Gallery also has “Organic Geometries: The Public Art Projects of Phillip K. Smith III” on display through Nov. 21.
The Press Restaurant
Protobot, described as a “super-groovy powerpop band,” will be playing at The Press in The Village in Claremont tonight at 10 p.m. For more information, visit www.hipkittyjazz.com.
The Glass House
Tonight at The Glass House in Pomona, Hawthorne Heights will be playing with Emery, Tickle Me Pink, The Mile After and The Malhereux. The show starts at 7 p.m. and tickets are $20 and can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com.
